This week’s focus will be water! Explorations will include: uses of water, kinds of water found on Earth, states of water, surface tension, sink or float, water creatures, and more.
Trips to include: Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve (ANERR), St. George Island State Park, SGI Lighthouse, John Gorrie Museum, Orman House Museum, and Maritime Museum.

This week’s focus will be creatures! Explorations will include animal adaptations, animal habitats, protection of animals, unusual animal characteristics, water & land creatures, animal compassion, and more.
Trips to include: St. Vincent Island, Gulf Marine Specimen Lab, and Humane Society.
Nature's Novelties
June 29- July 3, 2009
This week’s focus will be unusual things in nature! Explorations will include: preserving/conserving nature, protecting the environment, what causes beach erosion, how are waves formed, how are sand dunes formed, what lives in nature that we do not see, how is paper made, and more.
Trips to include: Franklin County Landfill, Apalachicola National Forest Forestry Station, St. George Island Youth Camp with ANERR, and Salinas Park at Cape San Blas.

July 6- July 10, 2009
This week’s focus will be chemistry and physics! Explorations will include: experiments, experiments, experiments!, potions, concoctions, solar energy, things in motion, and more!
Trips to include: Apalachicola Regional Airport and Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science.

AM session for grades 1-3 will be ½ day camp M-W and full day camp Thursday (no camp Friday).
PM Session for grades 4-6 will be ½ day camp M-W and full day camp Friday (no camp Thursday).
